The Association was founded in 1986.The purpose of the Association is to promote the common interests of the security and defence industry and to strive for increased understanding of its importance to Swedish security and defence policy.
The Association represents the Swedish security and defence industry in ASD (AeroSpace and Defence Industries Association of Europe) and in NIAG/PfP (NATO Industrial Advisory Group/Partnership for Peace), in addition to co-operating with defence industry organisations in several countries.
IMINT is a member of the Swedish Security and Defence Association since 2008.
The Association for Unmanned Vehicle Systems International (AUVSI) is the world's largest non-profit organization devoted exclusively to advancing the unmanned systems community. AUVSI, with members from government organizations, industry and academia, is committed to fostering, developing, and promoting unmanned systems and related technologies.
IMINT is a member of the AUVSI since 2008.
UVS International is the leading international organization dedicated to the promotion of unmanned systems (air, ground & naval). The association membership has grown to 263 dues paying corporate members & institutional members in 35 countries (1 Jan ‘09).
IMINT is a member of UVS International since 2009.
SSBA is a non-profit interest organization founded in 1976 for people interested in image analysis, image processing, image coding, computer vision, pattern recognition and related areas.
The purpose of the organization is to promote activities in these areas. The society has over 200 members both from industry and academia.
SSBA is a member of International Association for Pattern Recognition (IAPR).
The AeroSpace and Defence Industries Association of Europe, ASD, represents the aeronautics, space, defence and security industries in Europe in all matters of common interest with the objective of promoting and supporting the competitive development of the sector. ASD pursues joint industry actions which require to be dealt with on a European level or which concern issues of an agreed transnational nature, and generates common industry positions.
